Yes. To provide assistance on the territory of Ukraine, our foundation has chosen a reliable partner – “Help for Ukraine” Foundation. This fund was established a few days after February 24, when the full-scale invasion began. We chose them among many because we thought they were the best.
Yes. According to US law, all donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofits are tax deductible. Our IRS Deductibility Code is PC (public charity).
Yes, we will provide you with a tax receipt for your donation. If you haven’t yet received it, please complete this form to request a new tax receipt. (Please note, we ask that you only request a receipt if you really need one, as this process is not yet automated and takes critical time from our staff).
We are a volunteer-based organization, and our operational expenses are less than 2% of the revenue we accumulate, meaning that the remainder is used to directly help Ukrainians.
At this time we are collecting only critically needed medical items. We are not accepting any other material goods for donation in the US. Fundraising for purchasing critical items in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe is our current focus; however, we are carefully following developments on the ground and will adjust our priorities accordingly.
If you would still like to deliver materials items to Ukraine now, there are a few alternative options, thought they do require that you organize shipping and logistics yourself. Nova Poshta has several global warehouses including one in the US (East Hanover, NJ), and they have also recently started sending humanitarian aid through Warsaw, Poland, in collaboration with Dnipro LLC with collection in Roselle, NJ. MEEST company accepts humanitarian aid packages if you’re able to pay $2.30/lb.
In addition to keeping our chief focus on providing humanitarian aid, providing support to any military is against our nonprofit status. If you would like to donate to the Ukrainian military cause, we recommended donating to https://helpforukraine.fund/
Please email us at info@nextgenunity.fund with the details of your inquiry and someone will get back to you.
